Rainbow Day!

We had a fun week last week! We learned all about rainbows. Tuesday was rainbow day. Everyone wore bright rainbow colors, we did a rainbow collage, and we even got to fingerpaint our favorite rainbow color.

On Thursday, we learned about mixing rainbow colors. We all had Sprite and got to choose two colored ice cubes (red, blue or yellow) and then we watched as our Sprite changed to purple, orange or green! It was lots of fun!

Book It Beginner

This month we will begin our Book It Beginner program. Each child will have the opportunity to earn a Pizza Hut certificate in March and April. At school, your child will receive cut-outs. Please write the name of each book you and your child read together on the cut-out. Return the cut-outs to school. At the end of the month, your child will receive a certificate for participation. We will keep track of how many books our class had read. Our goal is 200 books for March. That is 10 books per child. Happy Reading!
